SAVE THE WHISKEY (Glenn Williams) We don't call it country, we don't call it rock and roll. We just sit back and let the music flow. We don't have to worry what everybody's got to say. We just sit back and let the music play. And if the sun comes up and there's one beer left it's mine. We can save the whiskey for another time. We never had much money. We never had it all that good. But all in all, we did the best we could. We never had to worry how our bills got paid. We just sat back and let the music play. And when it's out of key or the words don't seem to rhyme. We just save the whiskey for another time. When the times got hard, we'd look back on that whiskey jar we had and we'd realize things just ain't so bad. We don't call it county. We don't call it rock and roll. We just sit back and let the music flow. We don't have to worry, 'cause it looks like we got it made. We can sit back, just let the music play. And if the kids wake up, we'll know it's breakfast time. We can save the whiskey for another time. (C)2003 Glenn Williams
